The Adventures of Rufus and Friends

Parents, join your children and read "The Adventures of Rufus and Friends," fun, educational stories about Rufus, the Rufous Hummingbird, and his friends--animal and human, young and old--as they explore the world together.

Your children will learn about some of the challenges facing wildlife and the Earth, and what each of us can do to help. They will see examples of what real friendship means, and learn that people and animals of all types, shapes, and colors can be 'friends,' as long as we respect each other. Check back regularly for new installments of: "The Adventures of Rufus and Friends."

"Rufus is a friend to children of all ages, he is a friend to wildlife, and most of all, he is a friend to the Earth, our home..."

"As Rufus says: 'If you want to be heard, you have to chirp up!"

"Rufus can be a little rough around the edges, and sometimes he loses his temper or forgets his manners--especially when he is hungry!--but he always means well, and he is a great friend..."

"Rufus is a VERY small bird, but he has a VERY BIG !"
